About This Investigation
The Bohemian Grove is a 2,700-acre campground in Monte Rio, California, owned by the Bohemian Club, a private men's club founded in San Francisco in 1872. Every July, the club hosts a two-week encampment attended by some of the most powerful men in the world — presidents, CEOs, media moguls, military leaders, and intelligence officials.
In February 2026, investigative journalist Daniel Boguslaw obtained and published the full attendance list of the Bohemian Grove encampment through Drop Site News. This unprecedented leak revealed over 2,200 names organized across 172 camps, confirming long-suspected connections between political, corporate, and media elites.
Notable attendees include former presidents, Supreme Court justices, Fortune 500 executives, and prominent media figures. The Grove is known for its "Cremation of Care" ceremony — a theatrical ritual performed before a 40-foot owl effigy — and its "Lakeside Talks," where attendees discuss policy in an off-the-record setting. The Manhattan Project is said to have been initially planned at a Grove gathering in 1942.
